I have a dd7 and a ds5 (will be 8 and 6 by the time we start). Do I only get one 3-d map book, or do I buy one for each child? And on thatsame idea, are there things that I should have 2 of?
Thank you! This program looks like fun!

I would recommend only buying one 3D map book. The maps call for good fine motor skills, and personally, I think it would be easier on you if you all did the maps together. From what I've seen, I know my dd7 would have a hard time doing all of them independently.

The guide (or maybe the 3-d map book itself) recommends that you photocopy the map parts onto card stock. The copyright allows you to copy as many as you need for your own family or classroom, so you could buy one book and make 2 copies if both kids can do the maps.

For an eight and a six year old, I'd say don't double anything unless they are proficient crafters. There will be plenty for them to each do separate related projects.
