I am thinking about ordering these CD's from Sonlight to help us with Scripture Memory. If you have these CD's, do your children enjoy the music? My kids will be 6 and 8 next year, would I be better off still using the Steve Green "Hide Them in Your Heart" CD's? Thanks for the input. I hate to add to the slowly growing pile of "Things I Bought But Didn't Use". =)

DS loves them. I'm not all that fond. :-) I don't generally like kids' music, though.

We have the first three CDs and plan to buy two more for next school year. Ds likes them a lot and frequently puts one of them in his CD player to listen.
I have come to really like some of the songs too. With that said, their first CD is a little "primitive" (still enjoyable, don't get me wrong), but they get progressively better. If you are not sure, I'd suggest buying their later CDs. Just keep in mind that the earlier CDs are for younger children so the length of the verses are shorter and the more recent ones have longer verses.

We have one of their cds - God Our Provider. My kids liked about half of the cd. There is one song that everyone in our family loves - the Old Testament song- very catchy! I'd recommend buying it just for that song alone.

We have Sing the Word and God our Provider; our boys love listening to them and dh and I enjoy most of the songs. The music itself is interesting and well done--better than most other kid music cds. Our whole family has painlessly memorized all the books of the Bible and many verses. I know you can get them from Sonlight, but have you looked at Rainbow Resource Center? We got our cds there for a few bucks less, and right now every penny helps!:)
