How much help do you provide to your WT1 users? I have been sitting with my ds 8 while he writes his stories. I correct him when he doesn't begin with a capital letter, help with spelling, help with the structure and wording of the paragraph. Am I providing too much help? Should I let him give a first stab at it then help with the re-write?
I noticed that SWB suggests (with writing narratives) to correct right then and there. I have noticed that my son seems to get things the first time. So if he misspells something, it's a lot of work to get the wrong spelling out of his brain, and get the right one in. So I am just trying to figure out if I am providing too much help, or doing it just right.
All comments and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated!
Thanks!
