I am putting together our budget for next year and shipping is outrageous!!! Does anyone know if or when anyone is having free shipping or other deals?
Some of my books must come from the source only. But others I can use
a "warehouse" type online store.
So, any good deals or offers going on now or know of in the future??

Rainbow Resource (http://www.rainbowresource.com/index.php) is a one stop shop for most that offers free standard shipping for orders $150 and up.
Christianbooks.com (http://www.christianbook.com/homeschool/962895875) offers a homeschool section and there are usually coupon code to be found on-line.
Amazon.com is a default with most items eligable for free shipping when your purchase is $25 and over.
I have heard good things about Shekinah Curriculum Cellar (http://www.shekinahcc.com/) prices but have not ordered from them.
Timberdoodle (http://www.timberdoodle.com/) has provided excellent customer service but, may be limited in regards to what you are shopping for.
You may want to list what publishers/curriculum you are planning to purchase to narrow things down a bit.

You might also want to run a search through a site like this: http://www.directtextbook.com/
It gives used and new curriculum at the cheapest prices it can find on the web. It's not always the BEST source but it can be useful.
Amazon.com is a default with most items eligable for free shipping when your purchase is $25 and over.
And to add to this, I've found many books at Amazon on the Buy 3, Get the 4th Free sale. They always take the least expensive book for free, so it's best to try to combine 4 books that are the closest to each other in cost, and make multiple orders, if necessary (add in some of the books that aren't on the sale to get to the $25 free shipping min).

Look at buying used for non-consumables and teacher guides. You can often get them for a fraction of retail and most will include shipping in their price.
www.homeschoolclassifieds.com and here are my main used sources.
My personal preference is Rainbow Resource. I always think $150 is alot to spend but the cart fills up fast! I'll sometimes order with a friend too and that helps us both.
www.buy.com is another source similar to amazon.
