We have their timeline book (1 for each child) and their History Scribe/Scholar products. I really like them and have been happy with the service I have received.
I like the look of the reading log book. I may have to consider that for my dd. :)

Deece in MN, (or anyone familiar with these products:))
How often do you do the history scribe? Is it something that would compliment the timeline books they sell? I'm looking for a way to beef up SOTW 1 for my 5th grader next year. If you are familiar with SOTW, do you think it would combine ok? Also I was wondering if you had any thoughts on the book format of the time line as opposed to something I would post up around the classroom in a linear fashion?

Yes, these would go very well with SOTW. When we read SOTW I would find HS sheets that corresponded with the topic of the chapter and my dc would write a narration and draw a picture to go along with it on the sheets. My ds is using the History Scholar sheets now for high school in a similar manner. We probably did 2-3 sheets a week.
We have a wall/scroll timeline that is our main timeline. We put things on it that we read or talk about as a group. My dc each have the book style that they fill in any way they want. My dd really likes to paste or draw in pictures where my ds prefers to write in information. I like the book timelines because they are more personalized.
As far as complementing each other goes, one does not depend on the other. If you prefer to do a wall timeline that would work with the HS sheets just as well as the book one will.
HTH :)
