I have been so caught up with planning for next year I forgot my American History curriculum runs out at 1800. I am currently using Truthquest and I don't want to buy the next book. Do you all know of something with less reading and more action for 1800's and forward. ages 4th and 6th Thanks

You don't give your dc's ages, but VP has a program that is 1815 - 9/11
The teacher manual has several ideas for projects. Or, I believe the WP has a "middler's pack" for older children. We really liked the VP program for that period.

PS. Oops! You did give ages, mea culpa! I think VP would be a good choice! Their 1815 - 9/11 is their 6th grade year, but we did it in Grade 4, so this should work for you!

It just isn't working well for us.
