Now that I'm overdue I'm starting to wonder if we'll end up with a Leap Year baby. Any of you Leap Year babies or have dc's who are??
What's it like? Pros? Cons? Just wondering. I think it would be kind of cool. Dh isn't as convinced. I guess baby will come when he comes...

My bil is a Leap Baby. Now he has huge b-day bashes every 4 years and lots of jokes about being 10 years old instead of 40. But, when he was little he felt bad that he didn't get a real bday every year. He celebrates on Mar. 1 when it's not leap year, but that's not the same for a small child. I guess it's a toss-up. The one big advantage is that EVERYONE remembers your birthday!

Our nephew will have his first birthday this year-- actually his fourth ;) They are having a huge bash and plan to do so every four years on the 29th. It hasn't been a problem-- only lots of fun-- except that the lady at the office where they had to file a birth certificate (it was a home birth) couldn't wrap her brain around the date. She kept insisting it wasn't possible. As my mil says, "When they flunk the test, they are sent to work there." ;)
