Which movie includes the scene on the street about the "Susquehanna Hat Company"? I was trying to describe it to my kids and it remains, in my mind, one of the funniest scenes I've ever viewed.

Thank you! I should've known to seach YouTube. My husband just watched it with me and he didn't think it was nearly as funny as me, oh well.

I'm something of a classic movie buff. I can't tell you how many times I've found an old movie or a clip from one that I recall as being absolutely hilarious, showed it to my husband or kids, and had them shrug and walk away shaking their heads. Humor really is in the eye of the beholder. Enjoy it anyway.

Last year when we were studying "Modern history" I got different films, and music from different eras (20's, 30's etc.) We watched Charlie Chaplin movies and Abbot & Costello movies (from the library). My dc were just on the floor rolling with laughter! They love slapstick and the word plays.

My family often rolls their eyes at something that has me LOL so hard I can barely breathe.
