Trying to decide on a program for dd for next year and these are the two we're considering at present. Currently she is using Progeny Press guides and the older edition of BJU 7th Lit. She hasn't been thrilled really with either.
Currently I have her reading a book and I made up some comp ?, created some research projects for her to do based upon the topic in the book, and then assigned her a project to create a mobile that detailed the book using at least 5 movable parts and each part required a minimum of 1 paragraph to explain it. I'm having her journal each days reading based upon a ? I give her and she's keeping a dictionary list of at least 2-4 words per day to learn. She thinks it's great. It's just that with 2 others to work with I don't think I have the energy/time to create lessons for lit for her for next year.
