View Full Version : Need to be lifted up in prayer
A home for their hearts

I don't even know where to start, some days are just better than others and today is one of the bad days. We've been in a financial mess for some time now, we don't even have all are bills paid each check before are balance is negative, and that's before buying groceries. We keep having to rob Peter to pay Paul. Some days I can see the light better than others. I know we will eventually get ourselves out of this mess, it's just dealing with the here and know that is so hard. Add on top of that a cranky baby, kids with bad attitudes, probably from the stress I'm under, and it just feels like I'm continually being pulled down. Sometimes it's hard to believe that I will ever come out from under this weight. I've come to realize that I made a mistake choosing to homeschool this year. I had blinders on and thought I could be supermom and could do it all, well I can't.
Please just pray.

I'll be praying for you too.
If it makes you feel any better, we're in the same mess. Just as some extra money becomes available and I think we'll be able to get caught up on our bills, something always happens...the van needs new brakes, unexpected dental bills, etc. and we're back in the hole again. It can be very discouraging. With our tax return this year, I thought we'd be able to get at least a credit card or two paid off. NOPE! The van needs brakes and we're so far behind in a lot of our bills, we'll be using this extra money to get caught up. But someone on this board reminded me to pray to God and how we can give our burdens to Him. So that's what I do and I remember how Jesus told us not to worry about tomorrow, that todays worries are enough. Well, that's the truth, for sure! It's a relief to know we can go to our Heavenly Father and rest.
So I'll send up a prayer for you.:)

Thanks for the prayers. All of our tax refund went to bills, and the one coming in May will go to bills as well. We are so far in the whole that those refunds will hardly make a dent! Ouch. We haven't even started paying the hospital bills from having the baby.
Thank you for remind me to give my burden to God. I know he will get us through this and will provide for us what we need.
