project ideas?

Hi
Dd almost 11 needs a project. She needs some challenge but a fun challenge. She does not like to write but some writing would be good. Any ideas? I have asked her but she doesn't really say.

could you be more specific about what type of projects you are looking for? Subject maybe or just general? How about learn to crochet or knit or smock or sew?

What about something like a poster or brochure related to something you're studying for history or science? Or something like a tri-fold poster board that gives an overview of something you've studied this year? Have her go through drafting ideas, narrowing down the topics, creating a draft, etc... & make it a muti-step project that is worked on over days or weeks.

Does she have a particular passion? If so, could you find a unit study that you could do for a week or two (in place of some of the regular school work)? For example, Beautiful Feet has a History of the Horse Study.

Could she create & illustrate her own book about a favorite thing of hers?
