I LOVE this new format. Very easy to see what new threads/posts are out there, etc. This board though is moving VERY fast with many pages to scroll through.
I was wondering about the possibility of some subforums at some point. Maybe cooking/cleaning, parenting, or ???? Don't really know but a few smaller forums might make things easier.

This is how I've seen this type of forum done in the past. A section for t.v./media, questions and concerns, chit-chat, viewpoints (debate time!), etc. However, with so many people and so many topics....how could they all be separated?

Yep, good idea(s)!
We don't have to go crazy with sub-forumizing (nice word eh?) or anything, but a few could prove very beneficial.
I really like the idea of a food/recipes related one. Or lump food/recipes with cleaning type stuff for a 'homekeeping' section as mentioned previously. That works for me. I think it would help organize things but not overly so, causing folks to get further confused and overwhelmed by this new format.

I think it makes it easier to wade through all the messages if they are separated into specific boards.
It would make it much easier to find a recipe if they were all stored together. Only downside is that it would have a serious impact on my waistline ;-)

I would definitely like a cooking one. The old board always got so cluttered up with all those crockpot recipes. It would be nice to move those off of the general board.

I would like to see a cooking/recipe share board too! :)
go crazy trying to read all the pages. I'm getting used to the new boards and am appreciative of all the hard work that has gone into this. It would just be a timesaver if we could break our posts up into more categories.
Just a thought -
