I have no problem getting the typical daily stuff done (which is a lot, mind you!), but not much more than that. In fact, I haven't even been looking at my list! Duh!!!! :p This week I put my list on the fridge, but that's still not helping. What in the world is my problem? Am I just not motivated? LOL! I have been doing some decluttering around the house, so I am making progress. FWIW, I'm not a list maker and I get no thrill from checking off things on the list. LOL! I tried Flylady years ago and it didn't work. The emails drove me crazy. Sigh! What to do?

But I tweak it a lot, and often just work it into my own weekly housework schedule.

MM does remind me to do things I would otherwise forget, such as periodically wiping off doorknobs with disinfectant, cleaning out the toaster, etc. It also guilts me into occasionally cleaning my fridge, which otherwise would never be cleaned!

I may do some tweaking to MM too. Wish me luck!

I can't say for sure how it'll go, but we're starting it on March 3rd. I showed the kids the forms, and they're excited about them. My dd especially liked that the chores are rotated. Normally they clean the entire bathroom at one time, but MM says "clean toilets" one day, and "clean mirrors" the next. She likes the look of that, because it takes her a while to clean the whole bathroom.

Our plan is to divide and conquer, which is how we normally handle housecleaning anyway. But if the 3 of us split the day's chores, I think we can set the timer for 45 minutes and it'll all get done. The daily check list on the left side would not be included in that time--that's just stuff that has to get done, not really "cleaning". They currently make their beds everyday and feed the dog and all that, so it's just a matter of checking off their box.

My dh is hopeful this system will work! :D
