I'm in a bit of a pinch. I turned my oldest onto fractions and he sped through 10 pages of basic fraction addition with common denominators on Friday. Today's Sunday and it occurs to me that I'm not sure of where to proceed next.

Does anyone know of a good, preferably free, site that will explain the next step (factoring, lcd, etc.) to take with him?

Here are a couple of site to poke around

Dr Math (http://mathforum.org/library/drmath/sets/select/dm_lcd.html)

Least Common Multiple (http://amby.com/educate/math/2-1_LCM.html)

Visual Math Learning (http://www.visualmathlearning.com/pre_algebra/lessons.html) has a set of online math lessons so that you can see the progression of fraction teaching.

And worksheet works (http://worksheetworks.com/math/fractions.html) has some great customizable worksheets you can hopefully use once you figure out what you want to teach next.
