Here's the pics from our night with the Lunar Eclipse. We checked out a book from the library earlier in the day so we could read all about what we were about to experience. DD6 was so excited...same excitment on her face as when she first saw Mickey Mouse. I am so thankful for the clear skies and the recent posters that have inspired me to take up Nature Study. Thanks everyone.

Those are great shots. That was pretty much our view in California. What was fun is that that is what we just happen to be studying in science. My dd were so excited. I didn't take pictures, but I want my kids to draw it in their science journals. I tried to copy your pics so they could cut and paste but I couldn't.
