Does each edition have its own cd or are the cds compatible with all editions?

Does the cd *teach* or is it just an aid?

Each has its own, though I don't really know how much they change from edition to edition.

They teach the lesson and work through a few practice problems. The student is supposed to stop the CD once the problem is written on the screen, do it themselves, and then watch the teacher solve it to check their work.

I bought wrong edition cd to book once and it made a huge difference. The lessons weren't the same and weren't in the same order. Big waste of $50.
