Getting Started With Latin

Has anyone used 'Getting Started With Latin' by William Linney? If so, could you please share your experiences with it.

We are currently using it. I was "on the fence" about teaching latin so Getting Started with Latin has been perfect for me and my 6th graders. It is a minimal time and money commitment for a nice gentle introduction. It has peaked their interest in studying it further and gave me confidence in teaching it.

I can't compare it to other programs but it was perfect for what I needed.

I am using it for my own self-education. I enjoy that the lessons are short and can be done orally if necessary.

Getting Started with Latin was a fabulous introduction to Latin for my son (and me!). It is straightforward and not overwhelming. I only wish he had a whole series of them to take us through high school!
