CD SAT Math Review

Could anyone tell me the format for this? Are there explanations, then example problems, then problems for you to do? Or do you just watch the dvd for the explanation, then go the SAT prep book for the practice?

How long would you do this before taking the SAT?

Would it be a good review for a calculus student who seems to be forgetting his algebra and trig (in addition to prepping for the test)?

How does it compare to the Standard Deviants (free v. $110)?

It took my kids about 6 weeks to go through the DVDs. About 30 mins or so a day. Then on Saturdays they would do the practice tests.

The DVDs have explanations, then sample problems where you'd pause the DVD to work out the problem, then continue with the DVD to see how he solved it.
