Is it odd to have a sore throat after having pneumonia? My mother was

on Zithromax, finished the last dose on 1/ 12 (Day 5), so the antibiotic was in her system at least til Thursday. She started having a sore throat on Thursday. You might remember she's the one with COPD. Should I call the doctor? Her cough is improved, but she still has to cough some times.

when the pneumonia started. She started out with a sore throat and then it went away, now it's back. She doesn't have any fever w/ it. She is still tired, but I was expecting that.

I was hospitalized with pneumonia almost two years ago. I didn't have a sore throat afterwards. When in doubt, call the dr. Hope she gets better right away.
