I've been having an ongoing power struggle with my 16 month old because she won't wear her pink cowgirl boots. I know about picking my battles, but little Texans need to wear their boots!

She woke up at 2:00am, put on her boots for the first time, and wanted to go out and ride her horse.

Fortunately, I convinced her that he would get hurt in the dark. She stayed awake ALL night looking out the window, waiting for the sun to come out.

It is going to be a LONG day.

How cute! But you are obviously holding that child back from her chosen profession- cowgirl. Pack up her and her pink boots and she can come bunk with my (baby crazy) daughters. I have a pony just her size!

Very cute picture. I bet you will have a LONG day today.

Just get your little cowgirl a riding helmet. If you can't find one small enough, a toddler bike helmet is better than nothing.

I agree about the helmet. I was a wreck the entire 3 minutes it took to take the pictures, even though Tino was tied up, and my 13 year old was holding on to her from the other side.

I'm just about ready to ship this baby off to a new home.

Let's see... I need to wean her, and send you her car seat. What else?

Don't bother sending a small helmet, we have one that we keep on hand for all our pony's little fans!

So very cute. I dreamed about horses all the time when I was younger. She looks like she is going to be horse crazy her whole life as well. Enjoy! :)
