I'm tutoring a boy in math, but his mom also wants me to work on handwriting too. So I'm looking at programs to do with him. He is 2nd grade and in public school. I'm thinking I like the looks of Peterson Directed Handwriting. Has anyone used this? Did you like it? Does anyone have other programs they like better? If I go with Peterson can I just start at the 2nd grade level?
Thanks in advance :)

I really like Handwriting without tears, and A reason for handwriting. It is just a personal decision. They are all pretty good just a little different style in the writing itself. BOy's sometimes have problems in their writing. SO what would help him to be most neat and accurate. hth God bless, nancyt.

I am assuming he is working on printing. I would get any kind of workbook, and supplement it with copywork (we have lines from stories, bible verses, songs, really anything that interests him). Practice is the best thing IMHO.
