I can already sense the interesting responses y'all are thinking, but this is a serious question.:p
My palms have been itching in the last few days and the skin under my wedding ring as well. I haven't used any new skin products, the only new food products I've been having recently is Swiss Miss hot chocolate and pepper jack cheese. No not together:rolleyes:

You are about to come into some money!:D
No, really it could be one of the foods. I once tried some all-natural raspberry lipgloss and ended up with blisters on my palms. So it could just be an allergy of some sort.:)

It's kind of odd that a food would make my palms itch, but I'm kind of leaning toward the Swiss Miss because it has a variety of artificial ingredients and additives.

Now, wouldn't that be great! I could really use some too and my palms sure do itch allot, and my legs. But I think they are just really dried out.

Lately, my booKs have been itching something fierce. Any ideas on what THAT could mean? LOL
If you made the hot cocoa with your hands (and I truly hope you did!) then it would make sense your hands would itch, since some of the powder got onto them, or onto the sides of the cup.

eczema on my hands, especially the palms, in the past year. I don't think it has anything to do with allergies, but attribute it to getting older:p
Fortunately for me, the eczema clears up with a bit of hydrocortisone cream. This is probably not your scenario, but I though I would mention it. I have 2 other friends (women in their 40's) who also struggle with this.

My hands turn red, swell, then start to itch. My doctor said its a sensitivity, not really an allergy, to something in it. I get the same problem with dust as well, if I touch it without gloves. But I wouldn't rule out the cheese. Don't have any of either one for a few weeks, then introduce each one separately. You should get some idea from that.

My palms do this a lot. I have no idea what it is. It usually happens when I first wake up in the morning. I figured it was some sort of allergy thing. It's very annoying!

Have you thought about topical irritations?
Have you been working with flowers or greenery, doing early spring gardening?
Any possibility that cold weather may be drying your skin out?
Is there a possibility you are developing an intolerance to metal? (After never having a problem, my husband's skin now breaks out when he wears his rings for long periods.)
What about lotions or cleaning products?
Kitchen or latex gloves?Hope you find the answer soon. Good luck!
Blessings,
Lucinda

Yes. It is a Santa on a surfboard. I took the picture of an ornament and decided to use it here and on my blog. We really want to move to Hawaii and I always envisioned that that is where Santa likes to winter. :)

I experienced this exactly twice and was fortunate enough to figure out the trigger: pistachios! I confess that I ate a lot each time. ;) The itching was unbearable, and I had to scarf a Claritin. I can't say if 'twas an allergy, a sensitivity, or mere overindulgence, however, I avoid pistachios in quantity now.
