Has anyone ever bought a microscope on ebay?

I'm looking for a decent stereo microscope with a wide and tall viewing field for my dc, kinder and first grade (so Brock is out, although it's on my list for future purposes).

I'm hesitant to spend megabucks for something at this age, but I also know that they will really love something like this to explore nature, look at leaves and bugs close up, etc.

So, I've been looking at ebay....am I crazy?

Would anyone care to share any good/bad/neutral experiences with buying from ebay?

I bought mine and love it.
Cannot remember the sellers name for it but they sold a lot of microscopes.
I was very picky with what I wanted also and I got EXACTLY what I wanted and have been very happy.
