Can anyone give me some good opinions on FLL vol. 3? I am considering this next year for my third grader--we have been working through FLL 1 and 2 this year and for the most part she has enjoyed it for the most part...if you don't love it what other language program would you suggest--I have looked into Queen Homeschool Language lessons for the elementary child but the lessons don't really seem meaty enough--I am not really a fan of Rod and Staff although I know many people have great success with it...TIA!

We are using it this year and we love it. I'm also using FLL 1/2 with another child. FLL3 is different. There is writing. There is a workbook. But the lessons are nice and short and my daughter looks forward to them (not like she looks forward to Saturday but you know what I mean). I will be continuing with FLL4 next year.

I can't compare it to anything for you though.

FLL 3 has been a hit here. I'm using with ds (4th grade) and dd (3rd grade). My 4th grader has learned a lot but found it easy and confidence building. Dd has learned a lot and found the course challenging but not frustrating. Neither child had any formal grammar before FLL 3. :)
