Which Physics text/path would you recommend for a future engineer?

My dd is planing to study engineering in college. For those of you who have gone this path, what would be your recommendations or experiences regarding physics?

She is currently in Saxon Alg 2. grade 10.

The Giancoli physics text which is not calculus based receives rave reviews. I would consider it.

My daughters did Conceptual Physics followed by the Giancoli Physics text at the CC. I second the recommendation for Giancoli.
