She went into to surgery to have her gallbladder removed, and they did.
It was laproscopic (spelling?) surgery. While inside, they removed some spotted areas of the liver and also an infected lymph node for biopsy.
Does anyone know about what this could mean? She hasn't heard back
yet from the lab. I'm praying for the best....she has 6 children!!!
Thanks for any medical expertise or experience.

Human livers and dog livers are not so different. The "spots" could be anything from scarring (fibrosis) to areas of infection to deposits of fat to cancer. She will have to wait for the lab results. Middle age and older females (humans that is) can also have cysts which are benign. Pray and wait.
