It starts around 8 PM ET. We're in Pittsburgh and it's snowing and cloudy. That means that we will miss it--darn. This is supposed to be a total eclipse. Those with clear skies--have fun!!

Thanks for the reminder, I had totally forgotten about it. It's raining here though, so I doubt we'll be able to see anything either :(

I'm so disappointed...it's cloudy here also. My oldest dd would absolutely LOVE to see the eclipse!

We had absolutely lovely, clear skies for the past several nights. Now the cloud cover is returning so I fear we won't have a good viewing. The timing is perfect for us (7:30 PST), so I'm hoping we'll at least get a glimpse.

It's only partly cloudy here, so I'm still hopeful! And they say we might be able to even see a bluish sort of color, as opposed to the usual dull reddish glow. Last eclipse until 2010!

Yep here too. What are the chances, in Phoenix?

It's a beautiful, cold, clear night here. The partial eclipse is starting - so cool! I don't believe I've seen one before. I'm so excited!

It is very cool here in NJ. The clouds have cleared just in time. If you look at the partially eclipsed moon with binoculars, you can see a bluish purplish glow around part of the moon and an orangey glow around another part.

Minus the airplanes flying over. How do you take pictures?? We have tried but we just end up with blobs. Ds really wants pictures. Oh well.

Just saw it! It's about fully eclipsed here in TX. Our 6.5 year old enjoyed seeing it, but the bat that flew overhead was more exciting. ;)

We're watching it and I was taking pictures, but of course, the battery died in my camera! UGH! Oh well, no guarantees that they would have been in focus anyway!

It is still really cool to look at! We saw Saturn and its rings with DHs telescope. We're watching it from inside but can still see it pretty well.

It was cold and clear here. I'm not sure if my 6 yo will remember it in the morning, he was pretty sleepy.

It has been pouring down rain all day here (Houston, TX) ...not a chance of seeing it.

We tried to wake my 6yo up and he was in too deep a sleep.
