View Full Version : YIKES! Displacement cans/overflow cans

You would think that after 17 years of living here, I would have realised that there is always a different way of saying something over here. I even went to chem grad school here. BUt I just spent close to 3 hours looking for a displacement can online. Not one of my usual science stores had it:confused:. I just went back to home training tools and in a flash of inspiration, decided to type in 'can'. Yep, it is called an 'overflow can'. I have never heard it called that. Next time, remind me to check here first:tongue_smilie:.

I was ordering a bunch of experiment bits-and-pieces for my youngest's science next year, and got one because I've wanted one for my science cabinet for awhile now. I also got a real glass prism because the acrylic one I have now is crummy.
