:001_huh: Can someone tell me if the base 10 approach that is taught in Singapore is similar to how Right Start Math is taught??? visualizing and grouping...:001_huh:

It seems that it is. Hopefully someone else will chime in too. But what drew me to RightStart was because it taught similar to Singapore but was in a format I could better teach.

There are some differences, but this is primarily seen in addition within 20. Right Start uses visualization of groups of five (i.e. five and two more representing seven) in some of its addition techniques. IIRC, Singapore doesn't do this.
