What is the difference between Teaching the Classics and Reading Strands?

There obviously is a great difference in price and you get DVDs with Teaching the Classics. Reading the description of both programs, both seem to encourage Socratic dialogue of literature of your choosing. If anyone could shed light on the differences between these two, I'd be grateful!
