I'm contemplating ordering a meat bundle from a local butcher. The smallest bundle has pork chops and pork steaks. I can deal with the chops, but what does one do with a pork steak? I can substitute something for the steaks if I want to, though.

So, how do you cook your pork steaks? Do they have bones like chops?

I cut them up in chunks and use them for stir fry or shish kebabs. You can also cube them and use in this recipe: http://www.elise.com/recipes/archives/006115chile_verde.php

I've made this a few times, and it's a huge hit.
One secret: I only loosely follow the recipe. Instead of roasting the tomatillos, etc., I buy a jar of good quality Salsa Verde and pour it over the meat. I have done it on stovetop, and also in the crockpot. It works well either way. :D
