how many pins do you need? One for each parent and the child for a total of 3 or one for the parents and one for the child, total of 2?

My understanding is that you need two -- one for the parents and one for the child.

We've already applied and that seemed to work for us.

To submit the FAFSA for a dependent child, you need at least 2 pins, one for the child and one for one of the parents.
