I can't figure this out.
How do you say excersize, like a math excersize or piano excersizes? How about the physical sort of excersizes like in yoga? And how do you tell people to do things for school, like:
Do your schoolwork.
Do your flashcards.
Do your Latin.
Do your math.
Have you finished the excersize (math in this case)?
Have you corrected the excersize?
How many did you miss? (I can't figure out how to use the word miss, either. Which is the nominative and which the accusative?)
Thank you!

ooh, that's a tough one.. btw, I'm assuming you want answers in French and not Italian ;-)
Exercise = exercice
Was that hard? ;-)
Do your schoolwork.
Fais ton travail (scolaire)
Do your flashcards.
Fais ton travail (de mémorisation)
Do your Latin.
Fais ton travail (de Latin)
Do your math.
Fais ton travail (de math)
Have you finished the excersize (math in this case)?
As-tu terminé ton exercice de math?
Have you corrected the excersize?
As-tu corrigé ton exercice?
How many did you miss? (I can't figure out how to use the word miss, either. Which is the nominative and which the accusative?)
Combien en as-tu raté?
Thank you!

Ok - so, another question... How about missing people? Is je te manque me missing you or you missing me? Or a book being missing? Le livre me manque or Je manque le livre? And what is the difference between terminer and finir?
LOL - I bet exercice is the same in Italian, too...

I miss you = tu me manques
Yes, they are reversed, and that's very confusing to learners...
However, the book is missing = le livre est manquant.

It was seeing the second occasionally that was confusing me, I guess. Thank you!
