Our state, Tennessee, has added "Technical Geometry" to its course listings. It will fulfill the geometry credit required. I just got off the state website and the course description and content standards sound like Technical Geometry concepts will be those concepts that we really use in life.

My 15yog absolutely HATES geometry right now, and I am thinking of switching her over to the Technical Geometry course.

Now my questions:

What textbook to use? Would Keys to Geometry be enough for a full high school credit? Has anyone used the Larson book that is for Technical Geometry?

Help please.
But, I think I've found the answers to our geometry woes for this year.
Thanks,
Pam

Hate to rain on your parade regarding Keys to Geometry.

LoriM recently commented on the program in this post. (http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showpost.php?p=760181&postcount=7)

I decided to go with Larson's Geometry Concepts and Skills. You can view a whole chapter online at McDougall Littell's website. We use McDougall Literature and LOVE it..... I think that is probably one of the best publishers out there!
