I was just wondering as we have been using narration and dictation in a rather unorganized manner for many years. I was just wondering if the WTM and Charlotte Mason were very similar in this writing program.
I have children that are very familiar with narration and dictation, but really dislike creative writing (boys of course!). I heard that SWB didn't think creative writing horribly necessary for boys that hated it.
Am I right in thinking that this program will help me get my boys on a fairly steady path to writing success?
We have used IEW SWI B, and it was pretty good as they love "bottom-line" kind of assignments, but off the cuff composing is still pretty bad.
I was thinking of working through WWE using their Sonlight dictation pieces and doing SWI again this summer.
Any wise input?
