In a recent thread on Apologia Biology you mentioned you use the Thinkwell Biology lectures with Dr. Wolfe.


I'm looking at the Thinkwell website at a set of CDs for Biology for $25 -- two questions:

1. Are the CDs usable on a Macintosh computer, or PC/Windows/Vista only? I can't seem to find the technical details for the CDs anywhere on the website.

2. Can you just purchase the CDs as a stand alone item? You don't have to purchase the $100+ one-year access to the whole Biology program?

Yes, they work well on Mac & PC. Contact tech support for more details. They helped me out w/ a few things even though I didn't buy new from them. Great people.

The Thinkwell bio lectures are GREAT!

We bought ours used from amazon.com. We just have the CD's -- no frills or tests or whatever -- but we are VERY happy!
