We are transitioning in a couple of areas. Do I have it covered?

Bible
CD BCM then Algebra 1 (I will teach either Lial's or Dolciani myself. We really aren't needing the cd's so why spend the money?)
Lightning Lit 8 (just finished 7)
Apologia General Science (finish up)
Truthquest History (finishing 1865 to modern)
R&S 5 run-through for grammer refresher mostly oral
Writing Strands 4
RS Spanish
Violin
Karate
Youth Group at Church

Would love to add CW Homer but with LL would this be overkill? Also, I hear such wonderful reviews but the cost is really steep for me. Will LL and WS get us through?
Hmmmm, guess that is all. Thanks for looking:001_smile:

Looks great! Yes, you could do CW w/ LL. My dd will do CW Maxim w/ selections from LL American next year for 7th.

But yes, LL & WS will be perfect also. You've got a great plan lined up. Fun, huh? :)

You might want to look at Writing Strands 5 instead of 4, or just be aware that WS4 is not going to be as challenging for a 7th grader, and rush through it faster than it suggests.

I would not jump straight in with WS6, though, as it is markedly more complicated than WS3, 4, and 5, and I think that it's better to get accustomed to the approach before jumping into that volume.

:lol:It is soooo much fun. Of course, now I am looking at ways to school cheaper but keep the quality, which is a fun challange in itself:001_smile:
Thanks for the thumbs up and Lizzie, thank you for the comparison. It is so cool to be on these boards. For the longest time I was too shy! Go Figure, everyone is so nice and helpful. Thanks.
