Thanks for your discussion of Sonlight. My dd is begging to return to SL next year. Core 5 just about did us in with SL last year, so we switched to TOG this year. I like so much about TOG, but I don't like the time involved for me, and my dd (13) really dislikes it. My hesitation about SL is I wanted more help for me - especially if the upper cores were meant to be done more independently. I'm not good at asking questions; usually all I can think of is "Oh, that was a great book, wasn't it?" That's the biggest reason we switched to TOG.
But I was worried about core 200. Now you all have given me food for thought. Perhaps do core 7 in 9th, then core 100, and maybe even save core 200 for last...I sure wish I could actually see those upper cores. Anyway, thank you for the discussion; I'm feeling more positive about returning to SL. Kathy
