I'm thinking that the names of the geometry courses that I have heard consistently here are Lial's and Jacob's. I am working on making a decision between these two for dd, but, I want to be sure that I am not missing any others that I should consider.
Thanks!

I see your child is doing Saxon Algebra1. I worried about not having "Geometry" for my oldest son...but went with what was working (Saxon) anyway. His ACT's speak for themselves...his math was nearly perfect, and Geometry was his highest component.
Before I knew that, and for my second son, not a math whiz, we ordered a separate geometry...after struggling through 1/2 the year, we are scapping it and going back to Saxon Alg. 2.
Just a little encouragement, incase Saxon is working for you. You will get a very good geometry education by the time you finish lesson 70 in the Advanced Math book. (The equivalant of one year of geometry.)
No experience with the other books, just thought I'd chime in.

Thanks for this note, Tammi. I really appreciate it. We are working on her confidence, math-wise, right now. :) It seems to be working. We are reviewing quite a bit, and then I plan to jump back into the Alg. Math is not her strong suit, but it is important! Thanks for your input. Have a great day!

Discovering Geometry by Key Curriculum Press. I use the 3rd edition to teach at our co-op. It is very hands-on, which is great for many students, especially the younger ones. You can view samples online at www.keypress.com (http://www.keypress.com). I especially appreciate the additional teachers resources that are available to me as a registered user.
In addition to the text, there are many helpful resources for students and parents online at www.keymath.com (http://www.keymath.com).
