If you do use this program can you tell me more...
* Which level are you using?
* What are your thoughts on the program?
* Are you using an addt'l reference?
* Do you read w/ your child, they read on their own... how is this set up?
* Do the experiements work?
* How many pages do you print out?
* What else can you tell me?
* Any place to get this "used" or cheaper?
Thanks-

We are just finishing up this curriculum. Dd loves it! I like the 3 day/week layout. The teachers guide lays out each day for you. On day one dd reads the chapter and does the worksheets. Day 2 and 3 we do a short experiment. I also make up vocabulary word cards which we review together. At the end of the unit (4 chapters) there is a review page and unit test. The material is written in a fun, easy to understand language. You could get by with just reading the teacher's guide online and then printing off the student pages, worksheets and tests.

I have used the biology this year to supplement other things I'm already doing as I like the worksheet review, tests, etc. I do think it's better geared toward grades 1-4, or a child who has not done a biology study in past. I have looked over the earth science that's now available and believe that it looks good, too. However, it also seems to be better geared toward grades 1-4 and so I will not be using it for our sixth grade studies, next year.

Glad to hear from a couple of users. Looks good. Wondering if the $50 Earth Science price tag is worth it. Do you plan to use the Earth Science next year?
Thanks-

I have been doing this with a couple of other families. It is starting to grow on me. I have noticed that some of the experiments are not that clear. For example it will say you need a piece of cardboard but you need a square.
