My kids had exposure to Elementary Spanish last year through United Streaming, this year we no longer have access to it.
I've tried increasing vocabulary through Spanish books, audio, and videos at the library, I need something more that is "open and go". I would prefer to stay away from workbook base programs and either find a DVD based or interactive computer based.
I was thinking of a path such as Puertas Abiertas for 3rd/4th, The Learnables CD Rom for 5th, then SYRWLS for middle, and SOS Spanish for 9th/10th.
I'm hesitant to try Puertas Abiertas because I haven't heard much about it and I don't know that there ever will be a level two of it since it keeps getting delayed, I believe level 1 only goes half way through the alphabet?
I don't want anything hands on, just something to help increase vocabulary for elementary. Any suggestions?
