Thanks for sharing.

I love to get just about all my curriculum supplies from them. Unless I'm getting something used from here or e-bay I use RR. Good prices, quick shipping. HUGE selection. Mega big Free catalog.

We're new homeschoolers, so I've only used them a few times, but already I've found them to be great for supplemental materials. I've purchased many books from them at prices lower than Amazon, as well as a few kits.

I order from them several times each year. It is easier than having books trickle in from all over the place.
I ordered a bunch of science stuff from them a couple of weeks ago: The Astronomy Book, Constellations for Every Kid, Exploring the Universe, 3 OSS books, Contemporary Chemistry, Exploring the World of Chemistry, The Periodic Table- Elements with Style, Fizz Bubble Flash, and the HOD Bigger Guide Book.
I have ordered several Apologia texts from them, various workbooks (ETC, SRA specific skills series, Apples Spelling, numerous vocab texts, etc.), Singapore math, and the list goes on. They also carry CLE reading. oh, and all of my little guys Christmas stuff came from them. LOL

A few years ago, I realized I was spending too many hours looking through too many curriculum catalogs. I decided to just buy from RR, and I have not been disappointed. Their prices are excellent, and the customer service also excellent. One year, UPS "forgot" where we lived (new driver, very rural area) and sent my box of fall supplies back to Rainbow. I called RR, and they offered to send me a replacement box right away, rather than wait until they got my original box back from UPS. Fortunately, they didn't have to since someone at the central hub knew us and sent the box back before it got too far into the UPS return system (it is a VERY rural area!).
Most "big ticket" items I get used, but for consumables, its Rainbow all the way.
(BTW, I did the same with garden catalogs!)

I order every year things I need but one of my favorite purchases ever was their number line boards.
it's a board with a number line on it. I have one from 0 to 25(i think) and one -25 to 25. it's a wipe off board too. they are 2 1/2 - 3 feet long. great teaching tool and they were cheap!

Whatever I can't find used I order from RR. For the most part they are the cheapest to buy new materials from. On occasion Barnes and Noble and Amazon will have something cheaper and I'll use them instead. I think I ordered 3 or 4 times from RR this past yr and I'm saving up for my next purchase soon.

Whatever I find I "have" to have at that moment. I love RR. I like that fact that they carry so much that I find almost everything there. If I cannot find it there homeschoolsupercenter.com or homeschoolstockroom.com has it.

I order when I have $150 worth of stuff to get, probably 2 times per year. Many of our history readers are cheapest from RR. They sell our math and handwriting materials. I love their art supplies--it's definitely the cheapest source for pads of paper.

Christmas gifts - they had great Lego kits last year! No movie themes - but airports & space - loads of legos in a set. I love the PRICES too!
We always find Rainbow at the book fairs & conventions. I buy as much as possible from them. I don't think I could easily homeschool without Rainbow & the Book Peddler & Amazon.com.
My favorite thing about Rainbow (not product) is the STAFF & shipping. They are great!

I like RR because I can consolidate shipping costs on items that I would have had to order from different vendors. Usually, though, I'm in the free shipping range when I order and that's music to my ears.
