I've been eyeing an all-in-one for many reasons...to get rid of the extra photo printer, the scanner and the fax machine cluttering up my desk comes to mind! (I have a great laser for workhorse printing.) I also wanted a flat bed copier for those times when you just need to copy a page out of a book.
So, I've been watching ebay auctions for a model that a friend really likes. Bid a few times but didn't win. Saw the model was on sale at Fry's through today--and was very tempted.
But then I thought, Craigslist.
I found an almost new all-in-one (model that I wanted) that works beautifully. The previous owner put new ink cartridges in it just before I picked it up (and those can be expensive!). And I paid...hmmm...what the shipping cost was on ebay, about a third of the sale price at Fry's...
I'm a happy camper!!!!
Oh, and the owner's wife tried to throw in her one year old twins as a bonus. I declined. :D
