I have a speech to do. I have to record it. The directions say that I will be unable to video tape a powerpoint as a visual aid. Though I know on old monitors, this would be true, is it true on newer monitors? My hubby bought a very large monitor just last week (when my other died). It's an LCD monitor.

I thought the newer monitors WOULD come up on a recording. Anyone know?

Okay, say I couldn't do that. Does anyone have another idea of a more professional looking way to do the visuals of my presentation. I really don't want to resort to posters or something.

Thanks,

My son said that you have to reset the refresh rate to 85 hertz or higher. He said you can do that on the control panel. He says you cannot do that on a mac (that's what we have) but you can on a pc. It should be in your system preferences under hardware. There should be a "display" icon to click on. That is where you set the refresh rate.

Pamela, I have NO IDEA what that means, but he is my resident computer geek so I thought I'd ask him.

Hope that helps. Anyone else?
