I am looking towards Material Logic for next year, but have not purchased it yet. Does anyone have some experience with this text from Memoria Press? I know that Trad. Logic 1 & 2 can be used in one year, and our co-op has been able to keep that pace this year.
Is Material Logic a 1 or 2 semester course?
Has anyone taught it in a once a week co-op? Do you have any feedback on that type of schedule?
How does the workload/amount of "new logic" information in Material Logic compare to Trad Logic 1/2?

Thanks!

My 10th grade dd is doing material logic this year. There are 15 chapters with daily exercises.

We are counting reading the chapter and each day of exercises as one day. This way it is a 1 year course scheduled 3 times a week. If you did not count reading the chapter as a day and scheduled it 5 days a week you could complete it in a semester.

dd says the subject is interesting but, like Trad Logic I&II, it is a really boring text. The amount of new information is comparable.

Thanks! This is all very helpful information. I figured it was probably in the same "exciting text" range as the other 2, but I am glad to hear that she finds the subject interesting.
