Iowa Test

My 1st grader will take the Iowa tests this April as one of our ways to fulfill Ohio home school laws. Is there a good way to prep her for this? Are there samples available? She's never taken any such test, and I don't want her to be intimidated. Thanks...

I do know that you can purchase "Test Practice" booklets through Rainbow Resource. These cover subject matter that is most commonly found in several standardized tests, and I believe Iowa is one of them. You can do a search on their website for "Test Practice" to find them.

There are probably practice tests specifically for ITBS, but I knew of these for sure. Good luck (I'm sure testing will go just fine). :)

Ds used to attend school--he prepped with Scoring High, and was fine with the test.
I found that I really didn't need to do too much for dd to feel comfortable with the test. I just told her how to fill in the little circle.
