He should be bathed weekly, but that would give him dry skin. Once a month would be good, but we just don't get to it. We have a beagle, so he's a stinky dog. I do not have a good sense of smell, so I don't care that much. Others may not like it. :D

ETA: I tried to post this under the washing dog thread, but somehow it ended up here! I'm not sure what happened
