After this year, ds will have taken biology with lab, chem with lab, and environmental science. He is not wired to be going into the sciences, but he does want to go to a selective university, so I figure he needs physics on his transcript.

What would you recommend for physics in this situation? I'd like it to be something that could be self-taught and respectable as a high school course, but not super-rigorous.

No help for a homeschool course, but my dd took General Physics w/Lab at our cc. It was designed for those who haven't had hs physics & would be a good beginner course if someone is going into a science/math degree, but needed some more background.
