I am doing life science this year a la WTM and I already have the Kingfisher 1st Human Body Encyclopedia for the spine. I need things to supplement this: books, movies, models of body systems/whole body, etc. I'd esp. like the following but even if you don't have these exact items, do let me know what you've got!

A model of the human body that opens up so you can see the systems
A model of the human skeleton
Larger-sized models of individual body systems or areas
The Magic School Bus: Inside the Human Body
Human Body: Hidden World (A First Discovery Book)
Poster(s) of skeleton (or other system) w/ joints & bones (or other parts) labelled.
You and Your Body by Susan Meredith
Rookie Read About Science series books - any of them having anything to do w/ the human body (senses, systems, functions, limbs, etc.)
Somebody: Five Human Anatomy Games
DK books on the human body
All Aboard Reading, Step Into Reading, Welcome Books, and other leveled readers on the topic

Thanks! :001_smile:

Hi there,

I have a variety of things you may be interested in. I'll just list them and you can choose what you'd like or still need.

The Human Body (A First Discovery Book) $6 (this is a really neat book with see-through flip pages detailing your "insides")

Lyrical Life Science (textbook, activity book, CD) $15 (this is a great music-memory program I got through Sonlight)

The Usborne Book of Science Activities, vol. 3 $7 (while not exclusively human body, this includes Science with Batteries, Science and your Body, and Science with Weather -- the body portion has fun experiments about five senses, bones, breathing, blood, and more

The Usborne Book of Knowledge, new expanded edition $15 (a very nice hc which is five Usborne books in one, including How Animals Live, How Birds Live, How Things Began, How Machines Work, and How Your Body Works. We really liked this one.)

All prices are postage paid. I can take non-credit PayPal (instant transfer type or PP balance) or a money order. If you would rather write a personal check, that's fine, but I wait to ship until the check clears.

I may have more, but I'll have to look around (we're in the process of sorting books here, and things aren't where I'm expecting them to be). :o)

Hope some of these are what you're looking for!
