I was just trying to answer another thread and went to the Saxon Homeschool Website to look for a title I had forgotten only to discover that the links to all the Homeschool Math pages are down and that the school editions of Saxon are new (new look, revamped contents, etc. are all implied).

Anyone heard anything about this? Are they changing all the homeschool materials too?

Thanks for any info!

I'm not sure. There was a rumor flying around about them not selling to homeschoolers anymore. I'm not at all sure how true this is though. I'll look into it.

Just a little bump--I'd like to hear more if anyone knows. Thanks!

I did a google this morning when I saw your post before church, and one of the sites that came up had a message that said they were revamping their sites and they would be down for a few days (but when I clicked on the link the page was active). I wonder if they're just revamping their homeschool site?

Which web site are you using? As of when I posted this, http://saxonhomeschool.harcourtachieve.com/en-US/saxonhomeschool.htm <- this link works to the main page. I was able to drill down to specific categories. Perhaps they were just updating the website temporarily?

Interesting-When I click o the link for K-3 materials I get

"Sorry
We are unable to display this information at this time due to an error. We apologize for the inconvenience and will work to correct the problem."

Resources and Online Activities are both dead links.

I was only suspicious when I found that the in-school materials were with new covers (I think the old ones closely resembled the homeschool versions) and the motto "Different Look, Different Approach, Outstanding Results."

...our head librarian was saying she needed to find a math guru to look at the new version. Her fear was that they were changing their teaching method, which is what a lot of homeschoolers like. I haven't heard anything else yet, but will keep my ears open.

Looks like they don't plan on stopping homeschool sales.

Yes but those announcements are both over a year old.

Said while still wondering...

The homeschool portion of the Saxon site was working for me tonight. I just ordered my set for next year from this site:
